Berlin Landsat Scenery

The Berlin scenery was created on occasion of the LinuxTag 2007, which took place in Berlin, Germany. It is the first scenery for which the landcover data was completely derived from Landsat imagery. In addition, linear feature data for roads, railroads and smaller streams was used from VMAP0 and adapted manually using QGIS with the same Landsat images as background as were used for the automatic classification.

The scenery also contains additional buildings provided by Thomas Förster.

You can download the scenery from here (ftp, right click to download).
